Where and what time |
Parking for Coiners this year has been more complicated due to all the Environment Agency work that is being done in Mytholmroyd. They have commandeered the Community Centre car park. ALL parking for this event will be on an old car park between Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd which is being opened up specially for the day. There will still be a short walk around 15 mins to the start field and this will be flagged. Please see the map below for details. Please DO NOT park in Mytholmroyd Community Centre. £1 charge will be collected to cover the costs of the parking. Any money left over will be donated to Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team to help with its upkeeps as they are once again covering this event. DO NOT park on the road to the start. Registration will be open on the day at 9.00am. The races will start as follows: U9 – 10.30am No races will start earlier than the advertised time. All runners will be required to pass through the funnelled area to the start line so a head count can be undertaken. In view of the older age groups race routes taking runners across exposed moorland can all U13/15/17/19 runners come prepared to carry kit that complies with FRA guidelines. That means FULL kit. A decision will be made on the day by the RO as to weather non/some/all will be carriedIf that is the case then you will not be allowed to run without it. If kit is required you will be checked at the start and IMPORTANTLY AT THE FINISH. Anyone found trying to cheat these safety rules will be disqualified or prevented from running and the FRA will be informed. U11 should bring with them at least a waterproof top having full kit is a good habit to get into. Note to spectators from Natural England: These races are also Yorkshire Championships races. Information of qualification criteria etc is here. |
